Veteran DXpeditioner with numerous overseas travel and foreign assignments to his credit including: 9G1LL, K5LBU/ST0, /5Z4, /TJ, /6Y5, /OA, 9J2CF, 9L1CF, /ZS6, 7P8CF, 3DA0CF, VK4KBU, C91CF, C91HQ, and guest op at HZ1AB. Has made several trips to Nicaragua with W5GCX to operate contests as YN2EJG & YN2EJ. First licensed in 1952 as WN9BNL. Previous calls W9BNL, WD8AHS, KB8KW, AA5NK, NS7Z. R3/K5UO in Russia (1992-2004), 9H3UO. V31UO still current. Guest Op in China (1986-90) at BY1QH & from BY9GA. Operated about all CW from China as it was more rare on CW. From London mid-late 70ís as G5CON. 8BDXCC, Honor Roll for CW, SSB and Mixed. I favor the lower bands and CW almost exclusively. Struggling on 160m with 130 DXCC countries and have 246 countries on 80m.
